| Tasting notes |
| Appearance: A fairly deep salmon-pink colour enhanced by a long stream of
fine bubbles.
Nose: Clear and wonderfully fresh, reminiscent of red and black fruit like
raspberries, black cherries and blackcurrants.
Taste: The first impression is the freshness of the fruit. The sensation is rounded
and supple and remains on the palate for a considerable time. |

Wine Spectator 91 points (Oct 31 2003) A big, beefy rosé. Very Pinot Noir-like, with leaf, cherry and earth notes matched to a firm, muscular structure. Has warmth and personality, with a lingering finish. Begs for herb-roasted chicken. Drink now through 2006. –BS Wine Enthusiast 90 points With its bottle shape dating from the late 16th century, this is a traditionally made rosé, using color from macerating Pinot Noir grapes. It is full, ripe, flavored with strawberries and other sweet red fruits, with a layer of dryness. The wine finishes fresh and crisp. Score: 90. —Roger Voss, December 01, 2005. |
| Food pairing |
| Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut makes a delicious aperitif. It is also very good
with delicatessen food, poultry or fresh and lightly matured cheeses. An original
association is with red fruit desserts or lightly spiced Thai dishes. |
