Entry is layered by sweet grain, oak barrel, vanilla wafer, toffee and fudge; midpalate gives off wave after wave of integrated spirit, grain, wood and acidity. A perfect Speyside single malt. — P.P. The Macallan Fine Oak is triple cask matured in a unique, complex combination of exceptional oak casks; 1.
